The hose fittings (stems and ferrules) for concrete pumping hoses are especially wear-resistant. The hardness of the stems is up to HRC 55~62. Hose fitting is the joint between two hoses or a hose and a steel pipe. The stems are specially hardened by carburization, quenching, and tempering. The wear resistance is very good and approved by North American and European Market.

Our Advantages

Normally, the welding process is after the heat treatment. The high temperature during the welding process makes the metal in the welding zone tempered. There will be a soft zone around the welding line on the inner surface of the stem. The hardness of the welding zone is obviously lower than in other areas. This soft zone shortens the service life a lot.
However, our special welding technology has very few impacts on the hardness of the metal. There is not any soft point in the inner surface of the stem. That is why the quality and service life of our fittings are quite outstanding on the market.
