Hardened wear resistant concrete hose fittings
Concrete hose is a kind of industrial hose. The key feature is anti-abrasive. The fittings(stem) of concrete hose is wear-resistant as well. Therefore, the manufacture process of concrete hose fittings is different from other type hose fittings. The stem has to be heat treated to be hardened.The hardness of the stem surface is nomally HRC 55~62. With this hardness, the service life of the stem is much longer than those not hardened.

The production of the hose coupling is Raw material cutting ---lathing---heat treatment---(welding)---surface treatment (galvanization or painting). After every production step, all the products are fully inspected. Therefore, the welding process is after the heat treatment. Normally, the high temperature during the welding process makes the metal in the welding zone tempered. There is a soft zone around the welding line in the inner surface of the stem. The hardness of the welding zone is obvious lower than other area. This soft zone shortens the service life a lot. However, our special welding technology has very few impacts on the hardness of the metal. There is not any soft point in the inner surface of the stem. That is why the quality and service life of our fittings are quite outstanding on the market.
